Our Summer Show is the one night of the year when every class, from Pre-School Ballet to Senior Squad, shares the same stage. This year that meant eighty dancers and twenty-six numbers.
Rehearsals started in February inside normal class time, which is deliberate — we do not want show season to swallow a family's weekends. Full-cast runs happen in the final fortnight only.
The youngest dancers opened the second half, and by all accounts stole it. Our seniors closed with a contemporary piece that had been in development since the autumn.
Thank you to every parent who sewed a costume, drove a lift or sat through a technical rehearsal. Next year's show is already in the diary.
